The Chainlink

We are in need of a band for our upcoming bike event. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good band to reach out to that can preform outdoors.

We know it's last minute because our event is on the 25th of Sept, but we've had some exciting new changes in our program! Beer, BBQ and now we need a band for the ride afterparty!

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Thank you very much for the suggestion Dan, we reached out to them, unfortunately they are booked! We'd love any other suggestions too!

My band would be interested, several bikers in the band.

What type of music are you looking for?

Hi there.

We would be interested in playing as well:

We also have our own full PA system available. All we would need is power.

Happy Biking!

Are you "heartofchicagobiker" as in the neighborhood between Pilsen and Little Village?

Do you ever play around the 'hood?

That's right soud'side. Specifically, near all the Italian restaurants on Oakley...which is sometimes called the Heart of Italy neighborhood.

We've played at Bernice's in Bridgeport and also at Reggie's as far as Southside gigs. We also did a great benefit show at Benton House. Would love to do more Southside stuff.

Playing at Cole's in Logan Square next. Early October.

We's neighbors, almost.

Be sure to post your gigs on the Chainlink Calendar and to the Pilsen/Little Village group-- this is "a Chicago Bicyling Online Community" after all.

How about The Minneapolis Henrys?

Thank you to everyone for your input! We found a great band and confirmed their participation! We are looking forward to a wonderful event with a band, beer and bbq out in the Poplar Creek Forest Preserve-Carl Hansen Woods.

We are still looking for a few ride marshalls for the 65 mile option on the day of our ride. We don't require you to pay the registration fee, but we do require you to pre-register by emailing Jacki at jvanhall@cff.org. All ride marshalls can enjoy all of the giveaways of the riders as part of their participation. We need roughly 5 more, so grab your friends and shoot us an email! Let's Ride!!!
