Wanted: Leather Saddle

I'm looking for a leather saddle about 205 or 210mm wide - like the size of a B67. I'd prefer it to be unsprung since the bike is a tad too big for me and I need to gain cms where ever I can.

Brand and color are not important. Let me know what you want for it.

That one is not going to work for me. It's a racing saddle. I was hoping someone might have an old upright saddle taking up dust in their parts bin that I might be able to relieve them of.

Otherwise I'll end up buying another VO saddle for $65 but now that I have those on three bikes the cost is adding up quickly.

I'm thinking of buying one of those VO sprung touring saddles. How do you like them?

I have the touring one on a bike with porteur bars set at the same height as the saddle. It's perfect for that but I wouldn't put it on any bike where the seat was lower than the bars. You're welcome to come ride it if you think you could fit on a 47cm mixte.

I would look like a circus act on a 47 cm frame of any kind. The saddle would actually be quite a bit higher than the bars.

Go for it then. They are incredibly comfortable from day one even though the leather is of a thicker hide than Brooks and I have no spring squeak to speak of 1 year+ since buying my first one. For $65 (the sale price) you can't go wrong.
