The Chainlink

Jamie just finished building our gorgeous new wood canoe, which means the inflatable Sevylor Colorado 2-person kayak that we bought a few years ago for $600 is up for sale.

Lightly used, has a storage bag.  Full disclosure; we've noticed a slow leak that doesn't interfere with use and could be easily patched.  A lot of fun for fishing or simply paddling about in rivers, lakes.  Plenty of room for gear and/or cooler.  Here's a link on Meijer to the brown version of the boat and a review (ours is royal blue and black):

Why are you holding out with pictures of the canoe?
I'm not on Facebook. :)

Okay, Ryan -- I am not holding out, but I can't seem to upload any photos to Chainlink.  (Jamie built this Sassafras 16 in our basement over the last several months).  It's on my Facebook page, though (look for Monica-Niki Elenbaas)

So tempting....... do you think a 130lb dog could fit in it too??
NikI E I sent you a friend request.I would like to buy.

So am I the only one who pictures a 130lb dog in an inflatable kayak and thinks maybe that might not be the best of ideas?

;)

james, you are not the only one
Good for you Ryan.  Me neither.  Down with FaceCrook.

winston thinks it's a great idea. IIRC - gracie taught him to swim quite a while back in case the kayak springs a leak, right ?

I'll jump on that bandwagon,  James doesn't do Facebook.

What annoys me most is that when people use Facebook as a site for disseminating information to the general public they do not realize that those that do not have a BookFaced account see nothing but a "sign-up" page when they click on their link.

I refuse to let Mark Z. root around in my pockets.

Not true on both statements:

Clicking on above link proves that:

1. James does in fact do Facebook.

2. You can see James' page without logging in.

James does not recognize any impostor-Jameses

Usually when James clicks on a bookerfashe link it takes him to a sign-up screen without any info on it.  Is this a new thing?

Niki I sent you a friend request yesterday about the Kayak, but you can also just email at jpjames2000@yahooDOTcom.Thank you. On the dog side. You can buy snow booty shoes that you could put on the dog and if he doesn't move around too much in the kayak would be fine.I hope to buy the kayak and Laura if you would like to come out and try it with your dog no problem.I have seen a lot of dogs in rafts, canoes and kayaks.
