Madison Street bike in the loop--have you ridden it and what do you think?

A portion of Madison Street in the loop was restriped and had a bike lane added.  It's a westbound lane and goes from Michigan Ave. to Wells.  The lane setup is similar to the Roosevelt bike lane in that to the right is a bus lane and to the left are regular lanes of traffic.

I ride from Hyde Park to my office at Wacker and Washington; prior to the installation of the lane, I had been riding Madison in the bus lane. While Madison was being resurfaced, I had detoured off to Randolph. The lights on Randolph are terribly timed, so getting back to Madison was nice, and I do feel a tiny bit better having a lane painted on Madison. I haven't had any trouble with cars on Madison, since it's relatively lightly used compared to some of the other streets in the loop.

Yeah , riding it a few days a week

its really nice

just hope they open it all the way through the loop soon
