Active Transportation Alliance is currently working with the West Central Municipal Conference and cities and villages in the western suburbs to complete a regional Active Transportation Plan. 

This project is similar to the 2010 Northwest Municipal Conference Bicycle Plan, but it also includes ideas for pedestrian and transit connectivity.

The project is currently seeking feedback on the preliminary recommendations via an online survey. We have already gotten quite a few responses and hope that the chainlink community will help us get even more.   

If you live in the western suburbs, work in the western suburbs, or bike, walk, or ride in the western suburbs, please take about 20 minutes to contribute your knowledge to this planning process. 

The survey will be open until August 19^th.
