I appreciate the sentiment, but I suspect such finger-pointing and self-righteousness would actually elicit exactly the behavior these jerseys campaign against.

I mean, really: Don't Honk at Me?  You'd be getting honked at by every adolescent and adolescent-minded driver on the road.  Shoot, I might even honk at someone wearing that.  Slow Down?  Prepare to taste exhaust as the suped up pickup truck guns it right by you.  Really?  REALLY?

Sheesh, Joe, you have such a dim view of human nature!  But maybe you're right.  I just thought they were unusually funny shirts.
I work in TV.
I agree with Joe. People can be total a-holes and no one really likes being told what to - or what not to do if you think about it.
Well, all but the first apply to cyclists as well as motorists, so at least they're dual purpose. I chuckled at a few on the site as well, but don't think I'll be pulling out the credit card for any of them.

This is the one that I have....  Still sends the message but without the sarcasm....  I have found that it helps in the suburbs, but I actually had a guy lean out of a passenger's side window and try and grab it in the city a few weeks back....

Cool shirt, Larry!  And the price is certainly more reasonable than the jerseys I found.  I hope the knucklehead that tried to grab you ended up with a bloody nose.

I have the same jersey and I just wear it on group rides, not when riding solo anymore. Gets a lot positive comments on group rides. Attracted Icee cups and jagoffs while wearing it when riding by myself.

I have found that my 3 feet jersey helps when riding through Wilmette and points north except with regard to anyone with a New Tier High School sticker on their SUV.
