The Craig's List Ad section revisited...classic...clever.....outlandish....Elgin guy....tiring and so forth.

This one caught my eye, and yes Howard, I think this merits re-discussing.

I had a hard time figuring this one from my email client because the pictures don't come with the notifications from the chainlink.  

 

What is a Street Sing?  Is that a homeless guy from India?

I put the link to Craig's list ad itself- it's a Chicago Shared Lane Yield to Bikes sign apparently stolen from some street. I am at work and can't make calls until my lunch hour so if someone else wants to report this to some type of authorities, feel free.

Anyone interested in a heap of bikes and parts?  There is even a link to more pictures of the heap in case you wanted to find something neat! I just found this ad kind of funny and sad- a bicycle junkyard.

I thought this one was a typo, except the price is listed the same way twice.  Maybe it's the steel cable lock that brings the price up?

Because, well...It's OLD so it's got to be worth $1500 -right?

Hint:  Looking at those lugs it is 1955 at the oldest.

Yeah, untouched... except for removal of the front fender & brake, etc, etc..

 

Collectable... leave it on the curb and the scrapper will collect it.
