Because you can't see croquet balls in snow...

we're having a Bike Winter summer celebration/croquet match:

If all goes well, I'm making garlic mayo potato salad w/tarragon, spicy Asian green beans and a chick pea salad.  I think I'm grilling brats. I believe that someone's bringing homemade bean burgers. (Don't quote me on that, though.) You're welcome to bring snacks or a dish to pass. Bring something to throw on the grill if you'd like.

 

If we're not in the back courtyard, that means that the croquet game is in full swing over in Palmer Square which is just 1 block south of my apartment building.

Thanks for coming you guys! I believe croquet is fast becoming my favorite sporting event.
