So with the CM Hooligans post being one of the chainlinks busiest ever thread I have a couple of CM movies(not made by me)I wouldnt mind sharing with everyone, if anyones interested.. Anyone got a place to show them, or even a projector to show them on? Public or private for the regs who post, im open to suggestion.. I do have a projection system semi-available to me depending on date, so if someone else has one and is wiling to host, or lug it around that would be fantastic and(again)im open to any and all ideas. Since im in the burbs, and 99 percent of you folks are in the city maybe thats the best place to show them. Im not looking to dwindle on this, and want to act fairly quick so lets do it folks..

I know WTB has a projector, but I dont know those folks well enough to approach them on this.. Any chance alex? Maybe some of you folks can sway him?

hey, i've got space and a projector, so if enough people can pick a time, we can have a movie night at Castle Bikenstein (1551 West Chicago Ave).
hey will it be just for regulars? I ask because I got vacation the next two weeks and since I stayed in town, I'm looking for stuff to fill the time. I could contribute a couple cases of beer or soda or whaever. If not, it's cool, don't mean to invite myself! LOL
I"m out of town for the next couple weeks, but I'm happy to host in the future.
First, call me Steven.

Second, the details haven't been widely publicized for the Bike Winter Art Show, but there will be two Thursday nights in the 2nd half of February where we'll be doing open mic performance and showing videos (all bike related, of course). My hope is to have a mix of music, poetry, readings, and video that is like NPR's "This American Life" for cyclists. We came pretty close to what I was envisioning last year, check out video of the open mic performances:

I'm still up for hosting a movie night, but if you really want to share this with a lot of people in the community, it would be smart to consider taking part in the Bike Winter Art Show. Submitting is easy, just let us know what you have, provide title and total run time for video submissions, and we'll let you know which evening and time we can play your piece. It's cool if it's not your own work, if it's relevant and entertaining, we'll include it.

Contact me or the Flatiron Project or both, there are four of us co-curating the show.
