A 52-year-old cyclist died Tuesday afternoon after he crashed through a vacant storefront window on 95th Street in Oak Lawn, police said.

Michael Racky, of Oak Lawn, was riding a bicycle east on 95th Street when he hit a curb about 1:15 p.m. after crossing LaCrosse Avenue, police Cmdr. Dennis Doyle said.

He said Racky lost control of the bike and went through a large window at the former Miss Fantasia Boutique, 4823 W. 95th St.

Racky, of the 5800 block of 100th Street, suffered lacerations and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 1:54 p.m., Doyle said.

He said there was no evidence that excessive speed played a role in the accident, and no vehicles were involved.
