Officer Is Indicted in Toppling of Cyclist

Updated, 6:30 p.m. | A police officer who was caught knocking a man off his bicycle in Times Square over the summer in a video that was distributed widely on YouTube has been indicted by a grand jury, according to lawyers involved in the case.

The officer, Patrick Pogan, has been instructed to report to State Supreme Court in Manhattan for the unsealing of the indictment, his lawyer, Stuart London, said.

glad to see some sort of punishment come about. last i heard he'd just been "on vacation" of some sort.

His Joust? I gotta go back and watch the video cause i never saw a joust...BUT you do see that the biker was not inline to hit the cop. But the cop took a direct path to cream the cyclist on the cyclists line. F that cop and his whole genetically deficient family. This was obviously the kid in High School that picked on people and grew up to be a cop...Great for us!

The biggest bully in my school went on to become a cop. and I have asked around, and found it to be true for many other people. There are some good cops out there. there has to be, or the whole system would fall apart. but sadly it is true that some cops are just little more than legitimate bully's that would be in Prision if they werent cops.

I will probably regret this.

Do you folks mean "lance" you know the thing you use when you "joust." That thing you use to knock the other guy off his horse with when you are uh, Jousting. Or tilting as it is sometimes called.

Yep, we're speaking of a Lance...But that's pretty obvious when trying for the double meaning. ;-)

You wanna see my joust is a lil more discreet then you wanna see my lance? ;-) (ps... I think they are equally obvious but didn't feel like correcting. ;-)
