Help!! It's "Happy Friday" and I can't get this damn song out of my head!

Dunno, it must be on some frequently rotated commercial . . .

This one.

Any tips for flushing a song out your head swiftly and efectively?

Consider yourself lucky! I'm having a hard time brain-dumping that idiotic UPS commercial's adaptation of 'That's Amore'. I don't watch TV at home and this is the price I pay for having a boss who can't live without rolling news daytime TV all day (that no one is watching anyway....)
Try this :

Please tell me it's not Fox News, at least . . .

I've also got a boss that seems to think there's something therapeutic about having a TV on and blaring in an empty room.

Thanks! Do you know if it's available for purchase?

Some Sabbath?
Ohrworm as used in German conversation normally has positive connotations,  e.g. to describe a catchy tune.  Or maybe it's changed since I lived there.

I can't help get it out of your head, but the phenomena is known as getting an earworm

Knowing is half the battle and that jazz, blah blah blah.

Sadly, very sadly, it often is Fox 'News'. But thank goodness he doesn't notice when I switch channels. The good part about this unlimited TV lark is those wonderful three weeks in July when the Tour de France is on. Versus (the TV channel) is also screening other bike races too - just in case you're interested. Sorry to be off-topic here - it helps me forget dumb commercials.

Sing it like William Shatner.

That's the brain bleach that works for me.

I have had this one stuck far about a week now
