This is the type of thing that often makes me ashamed of being a member of the human race.

What really disgusts and appalls me is the total lack of coverage through legacy media sources. A search of google news shows NOTHING -absolutely nothing of any note.  It's a non-event in the mainstream media.  It's not even like it is old news and forgotten since it happened way back on Friday. It's just a never-ran story.

There is much buzz on the internet in groups, blogs and forums.  But Legacy Media Inc. is too busy doing biased political "education" and spin for their corporate masters to cover this.  It apparently doesn't fit into their talking points or what they want to "perform" by pushing specifics out to their general news-reading audience to control what/how they think and feel regarding current events.

It just goes to show what they think of us.

I find it disgusting that media outlets have used the word 'accident' to refer to that incident.

I hope somebody beat that driver savagely.

I think that may be one of the most disturbing and upseting things I have seen, ever.

I agree that the lack of coverage is disturbing. I'm asking friends on FB to change their profile pics in support of Critical Mass and in support of the Cyclists in Brazil that were hurt by this insane behavior. Media might not be reporting on it but we can make them see our numbers.

And if you aren't a supporter of CM you are just as vulnerable when you are riding alone even if you don't wanna recognize it. Support your fellow cyclists cause you are supporting yourself in the process.

That's one of the most disgusting things I've ever viewed.
I really hope the driver responsible is brought to justice.
Preferably with torches and pitchforks.

Apparently he will be turning himself in Monday...

This guy should be covered in butter and fed to the rats.

Or more realistically he should be court ordered to watch this video every day when he wakes up and before he goes to bed and before every meal.  They could surgically implant a video camera player into his optic nerve to play it so he can't even close his eyes.  Let him see what he did over and over again until it sinks in what piece of human garbage he is deep down into his psyche.

Can't wait to hear what his side of the story is.
I forgot rope.
