Bar Night - Dec 18?
I saw the coffee get-together on the calendar, but bar night isn't posted.
Is bar night happening this month in addition to the coffee get-together?
Both beer and coffee can warm you up, ya know? :)

Yes we will still be having a Chainlink Bar Night on the 18th. This month we will be at The Handlebar, 2311 W. North Ave. in Wicker Park.

I,m in. Although in the winter months the H-bar is not very bike friendly. They have limited seating space, and a bunch of sloppy bikers with all sorts of gear take up alot of it. That space could otherwise be used by paying customers. This has been our experience with the Marauders. However on a Thursday night, at an earlier hour, it should be less of a problem.

till everyone is drunk.... last month we stayed till about 1 or so I think. But it depends. I would call someone cell who will for sure be there.

I agree, last meetup at the H-bar was packed wall to wall. I had to take my beer outside in the cold to enjoy it.

will see all you hoodlums tonight! I'll be there at 8. Hopefully the snow will keep all non-chainkers away so we can have the entire place to ourselves and room for our gear!

well even if the usual bikewinter peeps don't do their ride (they meet at 7 PM) we can do our own later I guess....I'm down if the route ends north by my house off Lawrence and Damen.

I hit that "might attend" button with great hope and optimism, and am now stuck in a datacenter down by McCormick. Whoever said this was the slow season in my biz was totally wrong. err, that was me, and I say it every year. Have fun & be careful out there.

It was great to meet more of you last night. Handlebar was packed so there was a lot of standing and musical chairs going on. But a good time overall. Had my first ever real snow ride afterwards. It was beautiful out; the snow was just starting to significantly fall, there were very few cars out and I had a good teacher escort me.
