Good luck with that.

But if anyone knows it'll be the owner if they bother to reply at all.

On a related note -does anyone know what happened to the IceBike webpage?  There was a lot of good info on it and it's gone now.  I first noticed it a few months ago and it seems it is still gone as of a few days ago.

Oh, I just went to look and it is back!

Nevermind.  I didn't even have to ask 7 times...

I will look into this and report back. I wonder if Todd is doing some kind of drupal upgrade.

BTG "owns" the domain, but the site should be maintained and be in control of Cycling Sisters. Jennifer--do you know who has been maintaining the site lately?

The site is back up. We are not sure why it went down. This brings up to me a larger question of site maintenance. I was part of the team that got the site rolling ten years ago (ah, memories: http://web.archive.org/web/20020329151359/http://cyclingsisters.org*), but it looks like it needs some TLC. Web-cited Cycling Sisters can contact me about support with site maintenance and overhauling.

Goals from our old main page--how did we do? ;-)

We hope this website, the listserv, the monthly rides, and projects yet to be conceived will help us reach the following goals by May, 2005:

  • Increase percentage of female bike commuters in Chicago to 50%
  • Decrease "maiden in distress" incidents by 50%
  • Quadruple options for finding functional yet stylish cycling clothes
  • Decrease frustration associated with finding an affordable bike that fits by 80%
  • Decrease incidence of butt-pinching and "hey babying" by 100%
