Working on nailing down the venue.

Please friend me to offer submissions, or write to ho.ardbikes at gmail-- or post -about- them here, but please consider saving your debut for the "big event" rather than posting it here first.

I've put the full "Cycling Tour" Monty Python episode (s3e8)plus two bike shorts by them (Bicycle Repairman from s1e3, Picasso cycling race from s1e1) on a DVD.  Someone gimmee an address or come by AVille if you want it.

Are you coming to Daley? Can you bring it with? We Are Traffic too maybe?

Thanks,

Howard

Mailing would be great! That address was correct. 60608.

Triplets of Belleville was shown by Bob Matter I think.  I personally didn't care for it that much so I don't own a copy.

I have you as xxxxxx.  I can mail both DVDs early Monday, unless somehow contraindicated, or maybe Lauren can help (seeing her soon).

Also, willow asks "Has "The Triplets of Belleville" ever been shown/considered at the BW Film Fest?"

Hey, I just received word that George C is back and town and available to pick up/transport film/DVDs as needed. Would that be preferable to mailing? His addy is george(nospace)6567  at yahoo

My mail delivery tends to be fairly reliable, but with the holidays, who knows.

I Priority Mailed backups of the two DVDs mentioned, was cheap and easy, probably there Thursday. Worst case (lost), I can replace as late as showdate. We Are Traffic is 0:50, Monty P is 0:31 (plus two 0:04 shorts). "Uphill All The Way" does look good, and expensive. I'll buy Pedalphiles from you later if nobody else wants it.

Thank you kindly!

Looks like we're in very good shape. The Monty Python idea is smashing.

Pedalphiles is all yours; it's a very likely contender for Sunday.

Just wondering how many would be interested in seeing this film.

The movie is very good and the racer, Barry Wicks, lives in Evanston. I'm pretty sure he will be at this Sunday's race at Montrose. You could contact Jason Alvardo who helped organize the screening in October.

Wanted to catch this at the Music Box Theatre awhile back.

The Cyclocross Meeting A film by Brian Vernor

THE CYCLOCROSS MEETING is a documentary meditation on the sport of cyclocross and the human connections it inspires around the world.

A film about the currently exploding US cyclocross scene, and the emerging Japanese cyclocross scene. The Cyclocross Meeting follows Barry Wicks and Adam Mcgrath to top US races in New Jersey and Oregon, and then to Japan, where they compete with seven time Japanese National Champion Keiichi Tsujiura, and the up and coming talent Yu Takenouchi. Also featuring 35 year veteran bicycle framebuilder Nakagawa.
Got it today- safe and sound- plays / no problem. Plan to watch it as I drift off-- liked the beginning.

Just ordered Jitensha from the director. Apparently he's cool about screening the film at Bike Winter Film Fest and would love to hear about it and the reactions.
