Wow, that looks like a great ride. Not sure I'd want to race it, but it would definitely be a nice day out on the bike.

def recommend both the race and the area. story is a great town as is nashville

Do you think I would have had problems riding with a Bianchi Volpe?

that would have worked. i'd say 75% of the bikes were cross bikes, or something close. some mtn bikes, and some dude rode a little 500 bike. i rode 32c kenda small blocks and they did great.

i've never ridden a bike race before but i don't imagine this race was like any others. super casual and fun. the winner gets a rock. just getting thru the 60miles was the goal, a lot of people drop out i would imagine. great area, super friendly people, fun fun fun. here's the 2010 vid, we rode with the guy who made the vid for a while, til we got a flat and started drinking. we are the crew with the messenger bag full of beer at 5:15
