Anyone else grateful for the "extra" sun in the morning today? Hope you all have lights for the darker commute home tonight!
This weekend, Holly
blogged about learning how to fix a flat at Rapid Transit , which made me think the new BW site should include a list of local resources for hands on bike maintenance learning. Does a directory exist already that we can build from/link to?
Thanks to Holly and everyone who has been adding comments to the blog. So much great content, which gives more ideas for what the new site should include. I have also been referring other new cyclists to the blog for commiseration and inspiration.
Also, on 11/21, Martin is leading a
Bike Winter Basics workshop to help you tend to your overworked steed during the salty, slushy months. I think winter biking is harder on our bikes than us. This is a fantastic way to not only pick up some basic maintenance skills, but also to ask general questions about year round cycling.
For now, I am enjoying a few more days in the 60's,
Best,
Gin
