Ok, the winner is Sept 18/19. I will be setting this as the date. If anyone would like a trip before then they all seem to be equally liked. :) I would still be down for one before the end of September. Sound good?

18 & 19th sounds very good to me! I suspect I'll have all my gear shopping done then (or at least some of what I truly need.)

Shoot. I thought it was going to be on the 18 &19th. I can't do it on the 11 & 12.

Anyone want to plan a different trip over the 18& 19th?

Crap guys. I'm so sorry, I had the wrong date in my head. Durr. It is the 18&19. I thought September, and 11th just popped into my head. Again, I apologize.

Oh, good.

Now I can work on finding a super powered, high octane mosquito repellent. Have you noticed how bad the mosquitoes are right now? If they're as bad as they are in my neighborhood, I'm not sure I want to know what they're like in the woods. I guess we'll find out.

It's a long time from now. All the rain lately has caused issues. By the end of September i doubt it will be as bad.

To Holly: Any insect repellent with DEET is effective, especially ones with 100% DEET, like Johnson's Deep Woods Off!, Repel, or Cutter.

People can reserve a site online. I think I posted further up the thread the link. We can all get some sites together, but I don't think I'll be spearheading that effort. It would be great if someone else would take point on that?
