Would you pay for a milk crate for your bike if it had the logo of your favorite bike club/non profit/cause ?
How much?

Just a thought.

Not when there are 'free' crates and decals available.
Maybe, but your picture is misleading(?)-- it shows stolen milk crates.
Are you talking about taking stolen milk crates and putting organizational logos on them and then selling them?
No.

Why pay for what I pass in the alley every day.
No stolen and labeled, Specially made fund raising crates. I was just thinking about myself and how I rather ride with a crate that says Actrivetrans or WBEZ instead of Dean foods (and punishable by law).

The photo is to illustrate the current selection. Dixie Dairy and Prairie farms.

It would have to be awfully cheap to compete with the supply of freebies. I'd pay about $2 for an Active Trans/WBEZ/whatever milk crate. But that wouldn't be much of a fundraising opportunity.

Do people really get punished for having a stolen milk crate on their bike?
Cyclists are not much of a concern for the Dairies, A cyclist would steal one crate and be satisfied.
On the other hand, these crates are made from a resin that is valuable to plastic recyclers. There are thieves who would steal these crates grind them and sell them as raw material to manufacturers.

You should have some carbon fiber milk crates made and get licensing from a major pro team to use their logos. I'll bet some people would pay a significant fortune for that.
Hmmmmm....we will have to put this in our list of merchandise to explore. Do agree with Heather about the need to keep it cheap. Licensing, trademarks, partnerships, merchandise, distribution...so many challenges!

Ethan, with Active Trans
Probably not.
....I use a crate, and find myself wishing there was a screw-hole in the back (and sides) for a reflector/light, a couple flat spots for stickers or other customization...basically, if you could improve on a basic milkcrate in a few subtle little ways to make it even more bike-friendly, that would interest me. But yes, I doubt that even with the changes I would pay more than 10 bucks at the very most.
You could fill them with other Active Trans stuff and sell as a set.
