Happy Campers!

 

Thanks to all who came to the first installment of Pitching a Tent.  It was a great weekend, we had tons of fun, plenty of food, plenty of drinks, great weather and great vibes throughtout the duration of the trip.

 

I know many of us took pictures.  Please post them here and share.

Bike shop replaced the wheel. It was caused by rim wear from braking. Age of the rim mostly.

This is very impressive. I forwarded the image to my Ragbrai team in Iowa, chastising Team Bad Monkey that we need to step up our booze hauling. I am curious how chilling of the keg was done during the ride and in camp as well as what kind of beer is within.

The keg was obtained from a store by the park, it wasn't brought up from Chicago.

we threw a few bags of ice on the ground around it. being in the shade, and the cool air along the lake, the beer stayed quite refreshing. it was either high life or mgd. that was the fanciest they had
