S. Side Irish Fest-- Saturday-- join in!

The "got so big it had to be shut down" S. Side Irish Parade has been reincarnated as an all-day festival.
I'll be meeting Ken G. down here for the evening musical features-- Michael McDermott, Women in Kilts contest, and then one of my favorite bands Hothouse Flowers-- lemme know if you're interested in joining up.

Here's what I think is the closest thing to an official event website they have-- click on March 13.

Anyone want to ride down there together ? (I my bring a folding bike; and then bring it back via bus).

you could take the red line south to 95th street then ride west about a mile and half west and about 2 miles south

Hadn't really thought about riding down-- I live near 24th and Western, and without several detours of several miles the ride would be extremely unpleasant (I won't ride on Western except to cross the canal.)
So I was planning on bussing it down there. We could meet up at my place if you like though-- I think I'd like to get down there around 5 to get my money's worth . . .
