Just curious, how did you first hear (or read) about the chainlink? I met Leah at a bike film festival scavenger hunt and although I forgot the name of the website saw her again at the perimeter ride (biking around the borders of the city led by John Greenfield).

I was at Sunday Parkways and Leah told me about it when I got home I joined up.

Someone left a bookmark on my bike while it was parked outside the Center On Halsted where I was playing volleyball.....so I checked it out and my liver has never been the same.
I have no idea actually. I might have seen it a hand full of times before actually bothering to LOOK at it, leading to me joining :-)

May be a bit boring but I just picked up a nice "The Chainlink" bookmark at my local bike shop, Beverly Bike and Ski. Whoever designed these made them compelling. I had to check out the site.
I was trying to satisfy my addiction to used bicycles on Craigslist and saw an add for the Chainlink.
Never thought I'd be middle-aged nor paunchy and as such, it should be an absolute crime for middle-aged paunchy folk to wear lycra but it serves a purpose on a bike. I need to replace some lycra gear this spring and doing some research about the many brands, I ran across The Chain Link on some arcane bike forum somewhere. Looked at the site for several weeks and then decided to break my social networking website cherry.
