I don't see them making it illegal, but it could be brought up and discussed as far as being distracted on the road as far as education. They do discuss(when I took Drivers Ed.) that you should never get in a car while you are angry, sad or crying as it can make your driving hazardous/dangerous. Like say you got bad news that your b/f or g/f was in a car accident and are in the hospital, I was taught that you should at that point have someone else drive for you cause your thoughts are somewhere else, not at the task at hand. I guess same could go for riding a bike too.

Why do you have a hard time watching this stuff Marty?

Well, ya Mark, you could be yelling at your woman with your head turned and the same thing could happen. Are they gonna make that illegal too ? I think I really have a hard time watching that kinda stuff these days.

Interesting. i see the video was pulled for TOU violation... Whose "terms of use"? YouTube's or CL?
I did hear that YouTube put some kind of 18+ age restriction on it. Maybe that is related.

I used to text while driving until I read a couple of car magazines' tests on how much texting diverts your attention; it's scary. I now wait until I'm stopped at a stop light (and either everyone's stopped around me or I'm not at the front of the pack, and only if it's pressing) or I pull over somewhere/wait until I've reached my destination.

I think it's also important to remember if you're going to text while stopped at a stop light, look around while texting to ensure you're aware of your surroundings.
The PSA was shown on NBC's Today Show. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/32551351/ns/today-today_technology_an... You can't get any more mainstream that that.

Maybe they did a 18+ on the one I found, it wasn;t 18+ when I got the code for it.. I found another one and have updated my original post so it is working again.

Heard mention of it today on WGN radio... i think it's going (gone?) viral.

Did they show the whole thing or just segments and talk about it? When I was searching for a new code to post I came across a lot of news stories, but none of them showed it all, just clips of it.
