Been meaning to drop off some parts at The Recyclery for awhile, and recently acquired a bike which needed wheels. I finally ran over there today. They were appreciative of the parts donation, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the help I got finding wheels. No less than three people helped me at various times. On top of it all, the price for the wheels was terrific.

If you need used parts, a used bike, or access to open shop to keep  from wrecking your kitchen with greasy hands and bikes, I highly recommend The Recyclery.

I don't think of them as "new" but don't know their history.

Bike 'N Rose just closed one of their two shops in Albany Park to focus on the one in the Belmont-Cragin neighborhood.  Bad for me, they did a lot of good work for me.  Trained a lot of kids from the 'hood, Von Steubin and Roosevelt schools.

Recyclery has been around for a while, though they may be off the radar for a lot of people. Thanks for giving this worthy organization a mention, as well as Bikes N Roses and Working Bikes.
