Didja see, I came as a hippy. And Lauren was as perfect with dayglow body paint daisies as Goldie Hawn in her Laugh-In prime. Bubbles is an option. Steven's cogitating something but maybe August. What was last July?

Last July the route got hijacked. But before it got Hijacked (somewhere around Western and Belmont) it was a decent route.

I say just tweak and resurrect the bubble route.

I like the bubble route too. Unless something else comes up we should do that one. That way the south siders don't get to bent out of shape. I like the idea of alternating the route.

Fantastic!! i know WNBR just happened (and i missed due to MS ride), but anyone up for body paint brigade? obviously, we will need to be censored, but really, there aint enough body paint out there...and can work with a summer of love theme.

Entertainment sake? What else all might all this be about?

iggi - What do you mean by body paint brigade? 20 minutes of scribbling doesn't interest me and most of what I've see around Chicago is pretty crappy. Not sure what WNBR means. I'm new to chainlink and the city and must have missed something.

Check out this (NSFW) for info and pictures from the last wbnr in chicago. There were some people there with some really nice body paint, some of it on par with the ones in your link.

I like where this discussion is going. I've been coordinating with a few people to throw an outdoor art show and dance party at the end of July's ride. Two artists that have been documenting the World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) have put together a photography show featuring images from WNBR. We are planning to have the party at a vacant lot at Peoria & Kinzie, which can handle around 1000 people. We may even have a food donor that is willing to purchase a bunch of veggie dogs and burgers to be grilled and given away.

Bikes, Art, Music, Food (sounds like a block party in the works!)

Anyone willing to help make this happen?
