About me:
I'm a year-round cyclist who enjoys all sorts of two-wheeled trips. I'm the author of several outdoor guidebooks focusing on the Chicago area and Illinois. My first book is "60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Chicago," recently published in a second edition. In 2010, I have four books that will be published by Falcon Guides Press: "Camping Illinois," "Illinois Rail Trails," "Road Biking Illinois," and "Best Bike Rides Near Chicago." I also write freelance articles on outdoor recreation for local and regional publications.
