New to Chicago, looking for some new friends and cycling companions
About me:
I started riding just to commute and get around town, and enjoyed it so much that I got into some distance riding about 4 years ago. I've done one century each year for the past 3 years, but would love to start doing more long rides.

Lawyer by day.
My first bike:
A purple Schwinn banana seat with streamers coming out the handles. But disregarding that...

My first "adult" bike, which I still ride, is a 1970s Sekai road bike converted to a single speed that I bought off Craigslist and a mechanic once described as a "Frankenbike". That's about right. I love it as a commuter.

I also ride a Cannondale Synapse Carbon 105 5.
