What brings you to The Chainlink?
Looking for riding buddies. Interested mostly in weekend rides that are +40mi. I'd rather have a destination as a goal instead of a time or distance to keep thee routes new and interesting.
About me:
Yeah live in Logan Square and commute to the Loop most every day. Try it to get out for at least a 40mi ride on the weekends. I like to leave pretty early so I can get back in time to make breakfast for my wife.

I've been riding as my main form of personal transportation since 2005. Doing weekend destination rides keeps a sense of discovery that I love.
My first bike:
My dad's old Schwinn Varsity was my first bike. It was pretty broken down when I pulled it out if the garage and it didn't last long till it was seriously broken down, but it was the first bike I went on long rides with; long being very relative to how unprepared I was.
