About me:: New to Chicago, looking to get involved in the bicycle community and build my first bike from scratch.

Have a RANS Tailwind Recumbent
Had a Schwinn hybrid that was stolen on day 1 of riding in Chicago and want to build another similar bike.

My first bike:: Like... childhood bike? :) My first what I consider real bike would have been a Schwinn Crisscross with grip shifts as a teenager. I still really enjoy the hybrid setup.
