When he is not on 2 wheels, he coaches track and field, and is a real estate investor. He is a Chainlink Ambassador who has an affinity for pizza and ice cream. Follow him on Twitter: @ShawnGeauTigers and on Instagram: antonlove1. "I began riding as an adult in 2010. Back then, I rode exclusively on the lake front path on my steel 1988 Schwinn Sprint. I was invited to a 50 mile group ride, and I was hooked. From there, I purchased a new bike (2010 Trek Madone 4.7), and off I went. I now can be found usually on the southside, in the south suburbs, or in Indiana on two wheels. I love riding in many different places so I usually schedule several bike trips per year." Types of Cycling: Recreational, group riding, occasional centuries, sometimes commuting First bike? Schwinn with a banana seat (sorry, don’t know the model) What inspires you to ride? I love to ride. I love the wind in my helmet. I love riding and seeing all the sights, including changes in neighborhoods that I frequent. And, of course, I love to ride fast. Any advice for people who are just getting started commuting and/or riding? Wear a helmet at all times. Be safe and observe the rules of the road. Don’t take any bad behavior by motorists personally. Do you have a cycling bucket list? What’s on the list? The TriStates 100, the Michigan Mountain Mayhem, the Two Rivers Century, the One Love Century and the Seagull Century. These are just the ones to which I’ve committed this year. I like to do many different rides. Favorite places to bike to for a snack, drinks, coffee, or food?
