Founded in 2012 as the Prairie State Cycling Series, the Intelligentsia Cup brings competitive bicycle racing to the Chicago metro area, featuring top-level professional and elite amateur athletes. Did the Bike Valet at the Elmhurst Criterium, Friday 7/24.  great race times, food and drink in the heat. Now for even MORE heat this week...

For the third year in a row, Keating Law Offices is sponsoring the Intelligentsia Cup Prairie State Cycling Series. The title sponsors of the event are Intelligentsia Coffee and SRAM. The 2015 Prairie State Cycling Series has three races in Chicago with stops on July 17th in Beverly, July 18th in South Shore and July 26th near Union Park on the near West Side. In addition, there are stops on July 19th in Willow Springs, July 23rd in Waukegan, July 24th in Elmhurst and July 25th in Lake Bluff.

Support local bike racing!  I'll be competing in the whole Cat 4 series, come out and cheer me and my roll:team on!

Volunteers are needed for the race in Beverly on Friday 7/17.

There are 3 races starting at 4:30 p.m. Course marshals are needed in shifts.  Volunteers are also needed for set up, take down and onsite assistance. Volunteers get a T-shirt, food/ beverage tickets. For info, contact: bapa@bapa.org or 773-233-3100

The festival/start location is at 107th/Longwood Dr. (grounds of Beacon Therapeutic School), 1 block from the 107th St. Metra stop (Rock Island line).
