Description

Join British Bicycles of Chicago to celebrate Bonfire Night in style!  We mark the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot and its leader, Guy Fawkes by donning spiffy tweeds, filling our flasks and bringing some wood to burn.

There will be a relaxed ride from the Loop to Bubbly Dynamics with a few stops along the way.  Urban parkland, industrial and residential areas will be decorated with fall colors just for us.

Warm yourself by the glow of the fire and enjoy some treats.  Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed riders and most artfully decorated bike.

The fire will be lit at 6pm; the ride should be there by 6:30.  I'll post updates on our, ahem, progress.

Get ready to ride this Saturday:

*Bring wood for the bonfire!  Small bundles are available at grocery and convenience stores for a few dollars.

* Departure from Elephant & Castle is 1:30pm.  

* Our penultimate stop will be at the Bridgeport Pasty Company for delicious, portable bonfire food.
